Little to see…again.

16th February 2023

With a fairly established cloud base around 700 metres it was another day of not seeing a lot.

With moderate rainfall forecast tonight, burns and rivers will be running high tomorrow. It will also be getting a bit cooler tomorrow, unfortunately no significant snow fall is due but there is some possibilities in coming days. Ever the optimist!

Although it’s a patchy snow cover, there are reasonably extensive areas on North to East facing aspects above 900 metres.

There are a few old glide cracks around corrie rims.

A Winter skills group in Corrie Fionn making the best of the conditions.
