The Winter that keeps on giving……

It was a lovely Spring day on Lochnagar. Quite blustery at times but when sheltered from the wind, it felt warm.
This Winter has been pretty tough weather wise and it looks like tomorrow this trend will continue! Heavy snow in the morning with gale force winds, Winter is not finished yet!
Perfect camouflage!
The ‘Queen of the Cairngorms’ came out of hiding today. Looking good post thaw, it’ll probably look a bit whiter tomorrow.
The Main Corrie. Old snow is expected to become very hard as the freezing levels drop tomorrow.
