Poor visibility…..again.

Another day of walking about in the clag again. Precipitation was generally light,  although the Lochnagar burn crossing was higher than recent days. Snowfall above 700 metres progressively becoming deeper with altitude. It’s fairly slow going in the soft snow at the moment, older snow is firm but mostly in the corries.

More unsettled weather due Thursday evening, may be wet and last into the weekend.

This pic is from yesterday (Tuesday) around 850m. Very similar conditions today with a bit more snow and stronger winds.

 

Under the plateau. Snow is mostly well bonded but there are deeper unstable areas.
