Pea soup.
22nd December 2022
It was a bright start to the day but as forecasted a blanket of cloud had covered the hills by mid morning. I had a wander up to the West Ridge of Lochnagar where there is still a reasonable covering of snow. Friday is due to be cooler with the freezing level dropping to 550 metres by late afternoon.

I could occasionally see through the cloud that there is still reasonable cover in the Corrie of Lochnagar.

Cloud breaking from Beinn a Bhuird. The main Cairngorm hills still have good cover at higher elevations.
