Mild.

22nd January 2022

Up to the North Top of Beinn a Bhuird today. Mild, strong winds a touch of drizzle at times. Most of the snow is slowly thawing with some areas of ice emerging from under the snow.

Fast travel in studded running shoes with micro spikes on the plateau.

Walkers making their way up. The snow was thawing at all levels.

Cloudy around the tops today. The crags of the Dubh Lochan. Even at this height crags are still black.

Walkers heading towards the North Top.

A snowy descent.

End of the snow running. If you were really, really keen (or desperate) you could get a few ski turns in down here!
