Like waiting for a bus…

29th January 2022

We’ve had fairly benign weather for a while now….January storms starting to feel like a thing of the past, however, like waiting for a bus, nothing for ages then two arrive! Today, Storm Malik with rather feisty winds delivered a gust of 148 mph and at one point an average of 100 mph on Cairngorm. Little old Cairnwell wasn’t far behind. Storm Corrie arrives tomorrow, not quite as windy but hopefully delivering some snow.

Not the best day to be on the hills so went for a drive about, unfortunately not a lot to see!

No decent pics, just a bit of a bumpy video, Beinn a Bhuird in there somewhere!
