Mild and windy.

30th December 2021

Very mild and windy today. A lot of snow has gone. Greatest amounts left are above 900 metres, West through North to East aspects.

Looking towards The Cairnwell. Not a lot of snow sub 900 metres.

A mainly snow free Munro, Creag Leacach, in the background with West aspects (foreground) holding soft snow.

A lone walker at the top of Glas Maol West slope. Here, deeper deposits around the rim were found to be well consolidated within themselves but were not exclusively well bonded to the steep grass underneath. Snow on North to East aspects is still very firm.
