High Pressure.

17th December 2021

A stunning day. Noticeably warmer on the hill than down in the glen. High pressure is set to continue.

A cold start in the Glen. Quite icy on the footpaths first thing.

Much warmer on the hills. Running water at 1000 metres.

The Dubh Loch crags in the shadows. Not any snow to speak of.

A walker on the summit of Carn an t-saigairt Mor. Plenty walkers and runners out today.

A view across the Dee to Ben Avon.

High hills of the Cairngorms still holding snow.

The summit of Lochnagar. Stuic Buttress is the ridge line in shadow.

Deer grazing.
