Good snow coverage.

3rd March 2020

A mostly blue sky day, only a touch of summit cloud at times. Last nights snow helped improve the snow cover with quite a few people out enjoying the conditions. Very little drifting this morning but with winds strengthening this afternoon, snow was starting to drift.

A few avalanches have been reported recently. If you see anything you’d like to report, you can do it via our website-

Sluffs on steep East aspects. I was traveling on ski today and mostly stayed on lower angled slopes.

Good cover on the Glas Maol plateau.

The crags of Little Glas Maol.

A view of Glenshee Ski Centre, fantastic coverage on Easterly aspects. A piste machine working in Corrie Fionn.
