Pea soup!

28th February 2019

Sadly it was goodbye to the beautiful Spring days of late, not quite Winter Weather, still mild but thick cloud from around 750 metres, disappointingly there was no real views.

We headed up to Carn an t-Sagairt Mor (1047 metres), passing the Canberra’s aircraft wreckage as we looked around for remaining snow.

There is quite a bit online about this crash, one site below.

With a possible return to Winter weather soon, it was a good day to remind myself how to use the compass again!

Mark by the  Canberra’s wing. Normally this aircraft wreckage is buried under the snow at this time of year.

Back down the hill, there was no views today.
