A Winters Day

14th January 2019

It was nice to see some new snow on the ground although it was largely a cosmetic covering. A stunning day on the tops with the forecasted clouds rolling in around lunchtime.

Unfortunately it will be mild tomorrow but hopefully we’ll see a return to cooler temperature with some snow soon.

Towards Lochnagar, the Garbh Corries looking woefully bare.

Much colder today, small lochans had frozen over. Beinn a Bhuird looking a bit whiter in the distance.

Beinn a Ghlo.

Large glide cracks at the top of Corrie Fionn.

Glas Tulaichean.

The Cairnwell, Beinn lutheran Mhor behind.

Becoming cloudy over the Larig Ghru. Devils Point in the middle.
