8th January 2018

There was a significant wind chill factor today – you didn’t want to leave your digits exposed for very long.

There was also a bit of a North/South split in terms of cloud cover with blue sky over the North of the area and low cloud pushing into the South. Unfortunately this only became apparent once I drove South under the cloud – Yet another day spent in the ‘White Room’ !

Low cloud pushing in from the South

In the ‘White Room’. No visibility and heavy rime ice on everything…

Driving back North to Braemar – Beautiful blue skies!
