Wet & Windy!

It was a day of very poor visibility, strong and gusty winds with persistent rain arriving at midday. Any recent superficial cover is disappearing rapidly but the older snow has a strong crust and is only softening slowly. Turning colder overnight so the snow will start to refreeze and conditions underfoot will become very firm again.
No visibility today – any feature was useful to give the eyes something to focus on…
