Variable Snow Cover

It’s almost a case of being able to have one boot in soft snow and have the other on heather in places at the moment. We encountered deep soft snow, firm wind packed, hard icy and no snow today! There were a couple of people having fun on their boards  – using kites to move around the snow.

It was the best of slopes, it was the worst of slopes, perhaps. then again maybe not.
