A wild day.

It was a difficult day for observations, however it was pretty obvious the snow stability was poor. Key thing at the moment: very easy to transition from no or hard icy snow to deep unstable snow, particularly in poor visibility.
Plenty deer in the Glens today. A sure sign the weather is wild on top.
Deep drifts to valley level.
Briefly clearing at times, scoured exposed areas with deep drifts in lee locations.
