Another wild day due.

21st December 2012

It was another windy and snowy day but not as extreme as yesterday. Snow cover tends to be either icy, where the slope is exposed to the winds or very deep drifts in sheltered locations. Some slopes are disappointingly bare, the winds have stripped them.  The visibility was poor yet again today and it won’t be any better tomorrow! Take care if your out, likely to be rather ‘testing’!
Some aspects are holding full cover.
