Magnificent Lochnagar and crown walls

Today was pretty splendid compared to yesterday’s howling gale and torrential rain. Even though a lot of snow melt is now flowing at a rapid rate of knots down the river Dee snow cover is still good in the South Cairngorms. Lochanagar

Malcolm is dwarfed by this enormous crown wall from the full depth avalanche on the SW slope of Glas Maol.
