Lochnagar.

24th March 2022

Another fine start with a bit more high level cloud building during the day. The snowpack continues to thaw, high plateau’s and North to East facing corries hold greatest amounts.

Spring time on Lochnagar. The crag apron is starting to break through now.

The Black Spout still complete, albeit with soft and thawing snow.

At todays formal pit site. Still reasonable cover on these higher plateau areas. The snow is thawing throughout and  has changed little in recent days.
