The mild spell continues.

26th December 2018

With the temperature around +6.5 in the corrie of Lochnagar today its shouldn’t be a surprise how much snow is gone. Winter looks like it’s suspended for a few more days. It was mostly cloudy today but I grabbed some snaps when the cloud allowed.

A very unfrozen Lochnagar, not much better on the crags!

There has been quite a lot of snow loss at all levels. Some easy gullies such as Central Gully still has snow all the way.

Another view of the crag.
