A diminishing snowpack

18th March 2017

Still white on the tops today but with a brief thaw last night there was some loss at lower levels. Unfortunately some rain at all levels tonight but during tomorrow the freezing level will be dropping again.

Red Deer down out the cloud and snow.

Snow at lower levels has melted.

Plenty moss and vegetation around today.

Thin snow cover has already melted in exposed locations.

There is deeper accumulations in Corries and around Corrie rims.
