Cold and clear.
2nd March 2015
It was a cold, breezy day today, with the odd snow flurry. Aspects facing East are still very white looking, not so pretty on the Westerlies or ridges though! Old snow has mostly refrozen with ridges scoured.
Garbh Corrie and Cairn of Claise. Normally there would be substantial depth in these corries.
Glas Maol and Corrie Fionn
Corrie Rims have been catching the drifting snow. last year at this time these cornices were around 3 metres.
Glas Maol makes a reasonable, albeit icy descent. bit walking required though.
Corrie Fionn, ski area and beyond. E aspects looking white, W aspects, not so pretty!
