It was a mild day with light rain at all levels. There has been some snow loss but there’s still reasonable cover above 600 metres.

With freezing levels dropping now (it was -2  by 15.00 hrs at 930 metres) it’s likely to be come very icy underfoot on the hill.

The Cairnwell mast today. It’s been covered in rime ice since Boxing Day but now that’s in a pile at the bottom of the mast.

A claggy picture looking down on the ski area. The snow cover is patchy but still reasonable cover in places.
