Snow time.

10th February 2020

Great to see some decent snowfall at last. We’ve also had some very significant winds, in excess of 100 mph  so any snow was restricted to the most sheltered of locations.

More snowfall with drifting tomorrow and hopefully an improvement in our snowpack coverage.

Deer foraging in a heavy snow shower this morning. So far this season they’ve had to do very little of this.

A shot through a wet camera lens…… Keen and well prepared team. Character building!

Hopefully Glenshee Ski Centre will get some decent conditions later this week.

Poor weather above 900 metres. There is likely to be some challenging conditions over the next couple of days.

“Tomorrow will be very difficult on the hill with lizards and strong winds.” – thanks for the warning, I’ll be staying clear as I don’t want to aggravate my herpetophobia.
