Incoming snowfall.

10th February 2026

It was a rather uneventful day out today. Sadly not any significant new snowfall today but hopefully we will see more starting tonight and throughout Wednesday. You’re probably aware there is a Met Office weather warning in place for moderate rainfall on Wednesday. With the freezing level due to drop to around 600 metres we could see a decent amount of snow on the hill. Fingers crossed!

There wasn’t much to see today, other than Rogue wandering around. Slow going on the hill. Rogue did find a skier today who was eating a pork pie, I’m now considering keeping a pie in my pocket ‘just in case’.

    Hi Paul

Good idea. My hound would detect a pie in my pocket before I got my skis on and refuse to go any further! Hope the visibility improves for you folks, though its great to see this amount of snow. Cheers
