Lochnagar, hide and seek.

3rd April 2015

Very cloudy start to the day, which broke up a bit but not by much. It is due to become milder tomorrow but it is still very much winter in the hills with a good covering of snow and weak layers in deep windslab above 850 metres.

As forecast, a claggy start to the day.

Things looking up when I arrived at the Corrie, however that was as good as it got all morning.

A mountain hare crossing some debris on the crag apron. There seem to be quite a few hares in the Corrie at the moment.
