Another cloudy day.

21st December 2018

Another cloudy day, marginally better than yesterday!

Above 900 metres there is good but thin cover from 800 metres. Corries certainly holding most although many gullies are not complete.

There was an older avalanche reported yesterday through the SAIS website yesterday. If your out and about over the weekend and come across debris, we’d appreciate a report. Thanks!

Summit of Glas Maol. Thin but good cover above 900 metres on the plateau areas.

Running water at 950 metres. Freezing level will be around 1000 metres on Saturday.

Cornice collapse and small slab avalanche in Corrie Fionn.
