White again today!

Nice to see some snow back. Overnight snowfall led to a covering of new snow on most aspects. Initially the snow gates were closed but it didn’t take too long before things opened up. The wind had generally spread the snow around but there were deeper deposits in wind sheltered locations. New snow was thawing rapidly particularly low down but it did stay very cold higher up.
Change in the wind direction tomorrow with some redistribution expected. Exposed aspects will remain very icy despite rising freezing levels.
