Snowfall incoming?

18th December 2025

A cold and cloudy day with strong SW winds. A whiter landscape to look at first thing but most of it had gone by lunchtime. Looks like we may get snowfall tonight and into tomorrow, hopefully a lot more than the dusting this morning.

There was a cosmetic covering of new snow above 800 metres this morning.

Most of the new snow had gone by lunchtime. The track to Glas Maol. Currently any remaining snow is found in higher N to E facing corries.

Looking towards the Cairnwell side of the Glenshee Ski Centre.
