Little change today.

24th March 2026

It was a bright but windy start to the day. The freezing level dropped to around 900 metres by afternoon with clouds and light rain moving over the area. Unfortunately there was little sign of any new snowfall when I was out.  Wednesday will see a lower freezing level with light snowfall throughout the day.

For today there was little change on the hill.

Some minor wet snow slides in Corrie Fionn.

Over towards Carn an Tuirc (1019m). Little snow on the South aspects. The left side, NW out of shot still holds fairly extensive areas.

Glas Maol. Cover starting to break with the path mostly clearing.
