Wet and Windy

Not the greatest of starts for forecasting in the Southern Cairngorms with rain at all levels, strong winds and no visibility today. Currently, there is little snow below 950 metres with patches mainly found around the corrie rims and in gullies at higher levels.
Becoming a little cooler on Friday but no big snowfall yet.
I’d like to think things can only get better!
