A Wintery day.

It felt like a return to Winter today with heavy snow showers and gale force winds reminding me it really is Winter after all. Visibility wasn’t great, very poor for most of the morning.
Our first proper Winter’s day since the service restarted.
There was a decent covering of snow above 700 metres today.
Quite moist snow with no base but given we had nothing yesterday, it was a big improvement!
Accumulations were generally modest, with deepest around corrie rims.
