No Viz!

2nd February 2025

‘Nothing to see here. Move along’

Couldn’t have seen anything happening even if it was! Cloud base was below 600 metres this morning, meaning that there was no viz at all up in the snow line.

Slightly milder conditions have become established and the surface layers are becoming wet and have started to thaw. Consolidation has continued and conditions are pretty stable throughout. Similar conditions for the next 24 hour period with the potential to turn slightly cooler again late on Tuesday.

No real photo opportunities today.

No viz today. Welcome to the White Room.

Winter conditions hanging on in there at the moment. Thaw definitely taking place at 900m today.
