A trip up The Black Spout.
5th February 2025
Stunning day. A touch of snow overnight but dry otherwise. Initially very strong winds but easing after lunch. We went into Lochnagar today, only 3 climbers that we saw, they were heading for Raeburns gully.
The Corrie.
West Buttress, has suffered in the sun.
Bit more on Eagle Ridge area.

Good underfoot conditions.
Very little build up on the crags.
The narrows.
Exiting the gully. Shallow pockets of windslab around here.
