Wintery start to the New Year.

1st January 2025

Unfortunately we didn’t get as much snow as we expected but it still felt very Wintery on the hill today. Winds have pushed snow into sheltered locations or blown it off the hill, exposed terrain is very firm and frozen.

Staying cold for a few days, fingers cross for more of the white stuff!

Glas Maol. Visible terrain wind blasted and frozen. Very little snow but icy underfoot.

Rogue in a sheltered location. Isolated pockets have developed in these area, these are mostly avoidable.

View over ski area. The middle valley with Carn Aosda in the background.
