Incoming!

23rd January 2025

Other than a light covering of new snow above 600 metres there is little to report from today.

I suspect most people are now looking towards the immanent arrival of Storm Eowyn. The forecast for our area is very poor for Friday. Heavy snowfall will start tonight  and continue during tomorrow. Winds are forecast to be gusting at 100+ mph over the hills.

I think if you have any of those jobs that you have been putting off tomorrow is the day to do them!

Todays pictures.

There was a dusting of snow overnight above 600 metres.

Behind the Meall Odhar cairn. Good to see it white again although there was very little to see with cloud base around 700 metres..

Just a random comment to express how much I enjoy seeing these photos, and the commentary and forecasts every day. This content makes a homesick loon very envious, but wonderful to see.
