Thawing snow cover.

18th March 2024

A bright and often sunny day out today (despite the pics)! Gradually mild temperatures are taking their toll on the snow cover. Currently thawing at all levels with some rain expected tonight before cooling at higher levels tomorrow afternoon. Likely to see some further mild temps later this week.

Looking towards Corrie Fionn. Snow cover around the Glenshee hills is rapidly diminishing.

A view from Glenshee Ski Centre toward Beinn a Bhuird (left) and Ben Avon (right). Highest hills continue to hold best cover.
