Snow top up & some sun.
10th February 2024
A pleasant day to the East of Glenshee. A little more snowfall overnight and light winds today. Some deep drifts in sheltered locations and scoured areas immediately adjacent. Recent winds have been from the East.
Above; Deep drifts on Meall Odhar looking to the Glas Maol to Creag Leacach ridge.
Below; Same view with more obvious signs of scouring and deposition…as well as a relatively high level of significant snow.
Below; Quiet today. One lone ski tourer from Manchester and a winter skills group from Aberdeen. Nobody else!
