Firm underfoot, incoming snow.

8th February 2024

A very cold morning. Minus 9 c in Braemar. Cold in the hills around Glenshee too but pleasant in the light winds and generally clear sky.
The remaining snow is very hard with multiple patches of glazed hard ice. Very slippy.

Below; The South side of An Socach is more or less snow free apart from the classic snow holding Allt Boruiche burn below.

The snow cannons were working well at Glenshee and great to see the beginners slope busy with happy children.
