Those Shining Mountains.

8th January 2024

Some general views of the South Cairngorms today. Cloud was starting to clear apart from Lochnagar. Looking good for tomorrow ( Tuesday).

Lochnagar never really lost its cloud cover today. Only a brief view into the corrie.

Cairn Toul view. Good cover over these hills in South Cairngorms. Little snow into Derry Lodge other than ice.

The Beinn A Bhuird Corrie of Corrie na Ciche. The tor on a’ Choich on the right. Crown wall on the left?

Ben Avon plateau.

How stunningly beautiful and awe inspiring. Scotland is very lucky that it hasn’t been invaded by millions of tourists in the greater part of its mountain areas and spoiled like most of the Lake District. Well done the photographer. Roger
