Super Saturday!

A chilly start this morning with icy conditions underfoot from glen level. The North-North-Westerly wind also have a chilly feel to it but when the sun rose above the mountains it was great if you found a sheltered spot to just sit and bask for a while. Not that many were doing that – There was some serious exercise taking place – mostly on ski but the occasional skills group were out on foot. Glas Maol seemed to be a magnet for ski mountaineers today and every approach slope you looked at had groups of skiers on it…

 

 You can just about pick out a crown wall covering the slope above the Glas Maol tow. Cairn o Claise summit in the sun.

    Great to see hopefully we get a decent snowfall to all the Scottish Ski Areas
