Stunning afternoon.

A cloudy start to the day but the sun broke through early afternoon. Little change to the current snow conditions.
Generally well bonded snow cover but some softer deposits are found in sheltered locations. Skills group enjoying great conditions today.
The clouds started lifting early afternoon. Icy underfoot in places.
Although not deep the snow was firm and great for fast travel either on ski or foot.
Amazing views by mid afternoon.
