Snow loss and SARDA.

30th March 2023

Rivers were still moving well this morning, the thaw continues to have an effect on what’s left of the snow. The main Cairngorms still have the most, cooler Sunday, maybe it’ll last a while yet.

Walkers approaching summit of Glas Maol.

Cloud lifting over the Glas Maol ski run, looking towards Carn an Tuirc.

On a self-indulgent note, Rogue/Paul and Bowie/Sam passed their SARDA Novice Search Dog course last weekend. It was an amazing journey with lots of ups and down (no pun intended!) Great that Braemar Mountain Rescue Team have now got dogs available for call outs.

If you would like to know more about SARDA.
