Lochnagar.

23rd March 2023

Despite the cool start to the day, the burns and rivers were flowing freely and there was a noticeable in the snow loss. Shaded faces still hold reasonable amounts with the higher plateau areas hanging on.

Deer enjoying the morning sun.

Lochnagar, buttresses looking black.

Easy gullies still okay, prob need a good freeze though.

Meall Saobhaidhe with the tors of Ben Avon behind. Much higher in altitude than the foreground, there is still more snow in the main Cairngorms.
