Windy.

Quite a windy day today with a bright morning but becoming cloudier early afternoon. Not a lot of new snow, only isolated pockets of soft deposits in lee locations, any old patchy snow is very hard and icy.
A windy day, Loch Muick Boathouse getting a bit of stick.
A thin covering of snow from 800 metres.
The top of Central Buttress, Lochnagar at the top of pic. NE aspect in foreground, only shallow areas of new snow had formed. Despite its looks, most of this slope was firm.
A ptarmigan keeping out the wind. Wind exposed snow is very icy.
