Trace of fresh snow…

15th February 2023

Light rain this morning, falling as a dusting of snow above 900 metres. Fairly gloomy conditions with the cloud base mostly around 900m, occasionally lifting to around 1000m. Patchy firm snow underfoot, mostly above 900m. Weather looking likely to stay very unsettled for the next 48 hour period.

Just a trace of fresh snow at 900m. Meikle Pap.

Patchy snow cover – first snow encountered underfoot was at the Meikle Pap/Lochnagar Col at 900m.
