Patchy Cover

8th February 2023

Very patchy cover below 900m now. Best cover is to be found on the high mountains with 1000m plus summits. North and East facing slopes have the deepest accumulations. All snow will be firming up tomorrow as the freezing level dips overnight. A small amount of snow has been forecast but we are not expecting any significant accumulations.

Cloud base hovering around 1000m just covering the summit of Glas Maol.

Very limited snow cover on the 800m hills. Sron na Gaoithe (814m)

Patchy cover on Carn an Tuirc (1019m)
