Spring continues…..
25th March 2022
Some cloud to start the day, however it soon cleared to give another sunny day.
I drove up to park at Inverey. This is okay to do but be aware the road further on to Linn of Dee is closed. Access to Glen Coich and Beinn a Bhuird is fine, follow the diversion signs over the newly refurbished Victoria Bridge. The road from Mar Lodge to Linn of Dee is also closed.
A bike ride up Glen Ey to get access to Beinn Lutharn Mhor, 1045 metres. The snow is going quickly from hills outside the main Cairngorms, a reflection on the snow amounts these areas received earlier in the season.

Snow on Beinn Lutharn Mhor’s North aspects. There was also reasonable cover on East aspects as well but little on the plateau. Lochnagar top right in the distance.

On the summit of Beinn Lutharn Mhor, 1045m. A great view to the main Cairngorms. Little snow left on the lower hills in the foreground.
