High Pressure Building

4th March 2022

It was another very cloudy morning with poor visibility initially above 900 metres. Very little precipitation reached the area overnight and what did, arrived on quite light winds so there is just a thin general covering of new snow out there. Cover remains good above 800 metres but definitely becomes patchy under 700 metres – so a bit of ski carrying required if you opt to start from a low level carpark.

It looks like there will be some good weather over the next few days as high pressure builds so have a cracking weekend…

Monochrome photos today – hopefully they will be a bit more colourful tomorrow – fingers crossed.

A couple of skiers enjoying The Tiger, getting the run all to themselves…

Generally good snow cover above 800 metres.

Under 700m the cover is decidedly patchy!
