No Change…

24th January 2022

More of the same for today and tomorrow – Well bonded and stable, patchy snow.

The summits were in the cloud this morning, making it not particularly inspiring first thing: But it did improve later on, breaking and lifting above the tops.

There’s no change to the forecast for the next few days but Wednesday doesn’t look particularly pleasant….

Cloud just about clearing over the summit of Lochnagar (Cac Carn Beag 1155m).

Blue sky appearing over Ben Avon (1171m) later on.

Snow is mostly restricted to wind sheltered locations such as burn lines above 900m on North to East aspects.

What snow remains is firm and there is still some ice around, so caution (or avoidance) required.
