Cold morning.

11th January 2022

It was a cold start to the day but it wasn’t long before the freezing levels started rising. Most of the snow has started to refreeze becoming firm in most locations. Still reasonable amounts above 900 metres with patches and filled in burns at lower levels.

Lots of ice appearing from under the rapidly disappearing snow.

Ground cover

Little snow cover below 900 metres.

A break in the cloud, Lochnagar from the West.

Shows snow cover.

Still reasonable cover above 900 metres.
